Sales & Marketing Director - Remote


Are you an energetic, results-driven leader with a passion for sales and a knack for building trusting, long term relationships?  We’re seeking a Sales and Marketing Director who thrives in the dynamic world of federal government (DoD) construction environments. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to significantly shape our growth trajectory, and even play a part in supporting our military.

What You’ll Do

  • Be the driving force behind our customer acquisition and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Connect with decision-makers by making impactful calls each day.
  • Leverage CRM to strategically manage current contacts and new leads, ensuring seamless and productive follow-ups.
  • Determine and implement additional, creative marketing tools and methodologies for finding new leads.
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities in target sectors, positioning us as the go-to partner in the industry.

What qualifications will make you successful?

  • At least 3 years of experience selling/marketing to government agencies is required.
  • 3-5 years of construction sales experience required.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Strong, confident, outgoing, and professional phone and in-person presence.
  • Experience with and willingness to initiate dozens of phone calls and inquires per day.
  • Experience with lead generation activities.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Experience in generating and presenting business analysis and logic to defend/support business decisions to both internal and external constituents
  • Strong degree of accuracy in work, excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer oral and written communication skills and rapport.
  • Ability to treat all with dignity and respect.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Up to 75% travel required (flying/driving)
  • Must be able to work long hours during proposal season.
  • Must be able to travel freely within North America, if and when required.
  • Must be able to sit and use computer for long periods of time.
  • Ideally can lift 30+ lbs (trade show booth, etc)
  • Must be able to work remotely (laptop will be provided).
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with potential customers  in person, virtual meetings, and on the phone.
