Sr. Digital Media Manager
Job Summary:
Mishimoto is the world leader in aftermarket performance cooling products. Our Digital Marketing team is key in promoting our Push the Limits lifestyle brand. The Senior Digital Media Manager helps us keep a strong digital footprint by strategizing and implementing digital advertising campaigns across multiple Mishimoto channels, including email, SMS, social media, search platforms, and marketplaces.
The Senior Digital Media Manager reports to the VP of Marketing and will be the strategic and tactical leader for our digital advertising efforts, driving growth across key paid channels, including Google Ads, Meta (Facebook / Instagram), and emerging platforms. This role is crucial for optimizing performance, managing cross-channel campaigns, and ensuring a strong ROI across our DTC retail operations, both in the U.S. and globally. You will also guide the company as we expand into other marketing channels.
What You’ll Do:
Digital Advertising Leadership:
- Paid Media Channel Execution & Strategy Development:
- Lead the strategy and execution of Google Ads (and Bing), with a focus on Shopping and Performance Max campaigns.
- Manage Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad campaigns, including audience segmentation, creative direction, and budget management.
- Explore and implement paid advertising strategies on emerging platforms like Reddit, and marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay), ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Campaign Optimization:
- Drive continuous optimization of ad campaigns through A/B testing, audience segmentation, and creative adjustments.
- Implement cross-channel data analysis to refine targeting and enhance the customer journey.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- The proof is in the numbers. You will create weekly and monthly campaign reporting for all major metrics, goal tracking, and other initiatives to present to stakeholders showcasing progress against goals.
- Own daily performance tracking and KPI management across all platforms, ensuring transparency and timely adjustments.
- Email & SMS Oversight:
- Strategic management of our email and SMS marketing efforts. Overseeing the resources for: list building, creating, and maintaining automated workflows as well as individual campaigns.
- Oversight of the creation and maintenance of audience segments, strategizing, and implementing A/B testing based on purchase history, geographic location, and other customer attributes and behaviors to drive performance.
Cross-Channel Coordination & Brand Consistency:
- Integrated Marketing:
- Ensure brand consistency and accuracy across all digital marketing efforts, including email, SMS, social media, and marketplaces.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align digital advertising with broader marketing initiatives.
- Innovative Channel Testing:
- Pilot and evaluate new advertising channels, providing strategic recommendations based on performance and ROI.
Leadership & Development:
- Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports, fostering a culture of performance, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Oversee recruiting, performance management, and employee development within the digital marketing team.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices, ensuring our strategies remain competitive and cutting-edge.
Your Creds:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 5+ years in digital advertising, with a strong emphasis on Google Ads (Shopping/PMax) and Meta platforms.
- 2+ years of professional experience in email and SMS marketing.
- Proven experience managing advertising on marketplaces and emerging platforms.
- Team and resource management experience. Demonstrated ability in developing and leading high-performing teams.
You are Good At:
- Technical Proficiency:
- Expert in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and other analytics tools.
- Strong capabilities in Excel and data manipulation.
- Well versed in e-commerce advertising and digital platforms including Google Search, Google Shopping, Microsoft, Facebook, eBay, Instagram, etc.
- Strategic Thinking:
- Ability to analyze data and convert insights into strategic recommendations.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of delivering results.
- Communication Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
