Job Description:
Vertex Inc. is seeking a talented and experienced Customer Marketing Manager to lead and execute strategic marketing initiatives focused on driving growth within our existing customer base through the adoption of our e-Invoicing and related compliance solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing integrated, revenue-generating marketing campaigns, with a strong emphasis on leveraging data-driven insights and personalized messaging to maximize customer lifetime value. The individual will have strong story-telling skills, strong communication, and direct experience with cross-functional teams. This person will have direct experience planning and managing Account Based Marketing programs and leveraging ABM technology. The individual will have a proven track record of planning and developing effective content strategy to support every stage of the sales funnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute integrated customer marketing campaigns aimed at driving cross-sell and upsell opportunities to existing customers, ultimately contributing to revenue growth goals.
- Own full-funnel strategy and bill of materials for integrated, omni-channel campaigns. Responsible for developing and evolving programs to nurture leads and opportunities through the funnel and increase win rates.
- Leverage data-driven insights, including PowerBI, Salesforce, and 6sense, to identify and prioritize target accounts, personalize messaging, and optimize campaign performance.
- Collaborate closely with Inside Sales, Customer Success, and Solutions Marketing teams to align campaign objectives, messaging, and content with business goals and customer needs.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing regular reporting and insights to inform continuous improvement and optimization efforts. Regularly communicate progress to goal with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Leverage Marketing tools for omni-channel campaigns including: utilize marketing automation, specifically Pardot, to build, execute, and optimize campaigns across various channels. Effectively plan and execute live webinars and virtual events using ON24, ensuring seamless execution and maximizing attendee engagement. Utilize 6sense for ABM outreach as well as Alyce for gifting purposes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Independent and self-sufficient individual, comfortable owning and executing all phases of the full-funnel campaign
- 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on strategy, integrated campaigns, customer marketing, campaign management, full-funnel marketing, and revenue generation.
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, particularly Pardot, with hands-on experience in campaign setup, execution, and optimization.
- Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies and tactics, including account selection, personalized messaging, and cross-channel orchestration.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Self-starter with a proactive and results-oriented mindset, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience in planning and executing webinars and virtual events using platforms like ON24, from content development to promotion and follow-up.
