Digital Health business initiatives are enabled by external innovation and a software engineering platform developed in-house that gives us the ability to own the digital experience while showcasing the best of the EHR. Additionally, we partner actively with teams across the organization (such as Software Engineering, Clinical and Business Operations, Business Development, Application Support, Healthcare Analytics, Clinical Informatics, Marketing) to execute initiatives. The Manager, Digital Health – Product Management, reports to the Director, Digital Health Product Management at Stanford Health Care. As a member of the leadership team of Digital Health, this individual will play a vital role in working across teams to grow the strategic domain while representing their individual business function. Simply put, we seek movers and shakers who would like to shape the world of Digital Health by leading the way at Stanford.

What you will do
  • Help define a winning product management strategy for Digital Health through a combination of the following activities:
  • Ensures the SHC myHealth platform is the best in the industry by providing our patients with a cutting edge, seamless and personalized digital experience.
  • Introduces new and innovative products and offerings in Digital Health.
  • Defines a product roadmap and prioritize new feature development working in collaboration with Software Engineering.
  • Translates patients’ needs into product requirements leveraging the work of the Digital Health Design Thinking team.
  • Leverages the world of external innovation in collaboration with the Digital Health Strategy, Alliances, and Innovation teams.

Education Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in computer science, engineering, design, or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree a must.

Experience Qualifications
  • Five (5) years of directly related work experience in product management showing a track record of bringing to market new and innovative customer facing applications and digital experiences.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Significant experience collaborating with software engineering to introduce new products to market and define product roadmaps.
  • Expertise translating customer needs into compelling digital experiences.
  • Experience growing revenue from technology products or technology enabled services.
  • Strong influencing skills and organizational savvy to execute in a complex matrixed environment and integrate technology into operations.
  • Track record of developing, motivating, and retaining a strong team by demonstrating and setting high standards of behavior and performance.
  • Understanding of the complexity of the current US healthcare environment with a strong vision for digital technology’s role in its future transformation.
  • Motivated self starter who can work collaboratively and independently to deliver demanding assignments.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $72.55 - $96.15 per hour

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
