The Marketing Representative assists in the creation, design, writing and functionality of social media, internet and traditional print tools used to promote, advertise or communicate the Organization’s programs and services. Position responsible for interacting directly with program and other various department staff to understand needs to translate into a technical design and promotion working towards agreed upon goals.
Essential Functions:
- Researches and meets with vendors to stay current on advertising knowledge for products and pricing.
- Acquires quotes for marketing/advertising purchases.
- Places fully-approved marketing purchases.
- Assists with data entry for advertising placement tracking reports.
- Assists in developing detailed annual Advertising Budget in conjunction with Program and other designated Departments.
- Develops solid vendor partnerships for advertising and placement.
- Organizes and facilitates meetings with program staff and other Organizational staff to help access enrollment and program /service goals to assist in the creation and deployment of Marketing Strategies.
- Analyze marketing strategies through regular reports and recommends future strategies based on results.
- Facilitates regular meetings with program staff to determine content for social media campaigns.
- Assists Multi Media Representative with Blog Creation, Video ideas/content and Social Media posts.
- Serves as a backup for the Promotional and Multi Media Representatives.
- Assists with preparing materials for conferences (booths), set up and attend as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field
- Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders; including excellent oral and written communication skills
- Prior experience utilizing social networking tools for marketing such as Facebook, LinkedIn, X(Twitter) and YouTube
- Excellent project management skills
- Valid driver’s license/auto insurance
- Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances
Preferred:
- Experience and/or education in Video Production, Graphic Design, Web Administration and Social Media
- Experience utilizing WordPress, Google /Analytics, Dreamweaver, Adobe Suite, HTML language and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
